Q.3 Define deep-rooted conflicts and intrapersonal conflicts with suitable examples in their various manifestations. On what basis do these conflicts occur? How can these conflicts be resolved? (20)
Q.4 How do people deal with conflicts? Which conflict handling techniques or strategies are successful at defusing conflict, and which are inappropriate? (20)
Q.5 Discuss the 5 different conflict handling techniques with examples. How do the dimensions of assertiveness and cooperativeness affect the strategies for conflict handling and management? (20)

Q.4 How does inequitable allocation of economic resources result in the form of ethnic conflicts? Discuss in the context of Pakistan’s scenario. What solutions would you suggest? (20)
Q.5 What is terrorism? Discuss the efforts made by several countries and organizations in defining terrorism. Why has it always been difficult to come up with a unanimously agreed definition of terrorism? (20)
